Making a stand for those society neglects
Eureko/Achmea too intends to contribute to a better society. As part of its MVO policy in 2006, Eureko has decided to donate a half percent of net profits annually to a fund for charities. The Eureko Achmea Foundation (EAF) was set up to tangibly realise the endeavour to contribute to sustainable improvement of the socio-economic environment of groups of those in need, in the Netherlands and abroad. EAF income will be spent in full on the charities chosen.
Objective
To actively contribute to a sustainable improvement of the socio-economic environment of groups of those in need in society, both within the Netherlands and abroad. It will make financial resources available to this end. In principle, EAF supports projects aimed at a structural improvement of groups of the neglected:
- In the Netherlands
- In the rest of Europe: the countries where Eureko is further active
- In the rest of the world
Sustainable
“Actively contribute” implies that the groups for whom the aid is intended, must be considered capable of continuing without further help in the future.
Criteria
Naturally, the objective for which the application is made should meet criteria. See the
criteria for this.
Applications
Applications may be sent to the Foundation Agency (see Organisation). You are advised to make a careful study of the criteria beforehand (see Criteria). You can also obtain more detailed information from the employees of the Foundation Agency (see Organisation). If you think that you have an objective or a project eligible for a donation, you may download application forms (see Downloads). The completed application form should then be sent (digitally!) to the Eureko Achmea Foundation Agency, email address: info@eurekoachmeafoundation.nl
